about my background

Three disciplines, one way of thinking about people.

01. Thinking

Philosophy

Studying philosophy trained me to question assumptions, define problems precisely, and notice where systems quietly fail people.

02. Interacting

Recreation

Years facilitating recreation meant reading a room fast, building trust with strangers, and adjusting to needs people never stated out loud.

03. Designing

User Experience Design

Turning research into interfaces people can trust and navigate, built in Figma to WCAG standards, and refined through feedback from real collaborators.

I'm finishing a Graduate Certificate in UX Design at Humber Polytechnic, on top of a philosophy degree from Guelph. Right now I'm also studying how AI is changing interaction design, and looking to bring all of it into a full-time UX role.

I'm currently exploring UX roles where interdisciplinary thinking is valued as much as a polished mockup.
